Attorney Joseph Foley is a graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Finance. Upon completion of his collegiate studies, Attorney Foley worked as a business executive, which experience provided him with the opportunity to work with clients in many major markets including Boston, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Washington D.C. and New York City. Attorney Foley subsequently earned his Juris Doctorate degree from The New England Law School in Boston, Massachusetts.
As a third-year law student, Attorney Foley was granted permission by The Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts to provide pro-bono legal services to low-income and indigent parties in need of probate and family law representation. Attorney Foley was able to provide such services under Massachusetts S.J.C. Rule 3:03, which rule permits qualified senior law students to appear without compensation on behalf of indigent parties provided that said representation is supervised by a member of the bar of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Attorney Foley’s 25 years of service dedicated to those in financial need commenced upon his rendering of pro-bono services as a student advocate under S.J.C. Rule 3:03.
Since obtaining his Juris Doctorate, Attorney Foley has been representing individuals, couples and businesses experiencing severe economic hardship. He has a 25-year track record of effectively assisting clients in financial distress, many of whom were experiencing oppressive debts including business debt, credit card bills, court judgments, unmanageable mortgage obligations, income tax levies, automobile deficiencies, inequitable divorce property settlements, gambling debts, medical bills, dental bills and student loan obligations.
Attorney Joseph Foley is admitted to The Massachusetts State Bar, The New York State Bar, The Virginia State Bar, The Federal District Court for the District Of Massachusetts, The Federal District Court for the Northern District of New York, The Federal District Court for the Southern District of New York and The Federal District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
